About Us

Welcome to Excelsior High

The name Excelsior means “Ever High”
Excelsior was gestig op 27 April 1982. Dit was eers bekend as Belhar Nr 2. Later was dit vernoem na Excelsior Sekondêr met die leuse “Mens Sana”
Mens Sana means a sound body in a sound mind

Leerders kom na Excelsior om goeie opvoeding te ontvang van ervare en wyse onderwysers, maar elke leerder het ‘n verantwoordelikheid teenoor die skool.
Vir die volgende vyf jaar sal die leerder by Excelsior of ‘n positiewe of negatiewe bydrae tot die groei en ontwikkeling van die skool maak. Ons vertrou dat hy/sy daardie keuses sal maak wat sal bydra tot die betekenis van die skool se naam in die samelewing, dit is om altyd te strewe na beter prestasies.

Ons wil julle hartlik by Excelsior verwelkom en hoop dat julle verblyf die volgende vyf jaar baie gelukkig sal wees en dat julle in die aktiwiteite wat die skool aanbied sal deelneem en tot pragtige jongmense sal ontwikkel.
